(Note that this is referring to one business day.  Thus, for Friday/Saturday/Sunday wedding ceremonies, your arrival in Nassau must be scheduled for no later than Thursday morning). * The parties must produce some form of photo identification which must be attached. (Passport or driver's license are the preferred id types). * NO BLOOD TEST IS NECESSARY. * The license fee of US$100.00 must be paid at the Registrar`s General Office in Nassau,Bahamas.  (Note that this fee is NOT included in UBW's charge). LEGAL INFORMATION * NEVER MARRIED -  If either party is not married, a declaration certifying this fact must be sworn before a Notary Public or Justice of The Peace in The Bahamas and such a declaration must be attached to the application to secure a marriage license. (Note that UBW is a one-stop solution, as we DO provide such JP services at nominal costs). * DIVORCED - If either party has been divorced, the original final decree or a court certified copy must be produced. * WIDOWED - If either party is widowed, an original or certified copy of the death certificate of the deceased spouse must be produced.
